Going back to return policies at watch stores, you have to remember that they have you in mind. Wanting your business, and ensuring your continued patronization of their business is of the utmost importance. Most brick and mortar watch stores survive this way. Providing satisfactory customer service allows them to capture repeat business. That is their mainstay; namely, us watch lovers who keep coming back for more.

Lets talk about relief vs. etching/engraving. The former refers to practice of creating an image that rises from a surface, while the latter refer to the practice are carving into a surface. Relief work is more complex, and more expensive. A well tuned laser or etching tool can easily engrave a number of patterns, but relief work requires special equipment, especially with a high relief, which requires the design to be part of the actual piece it is located on. This is one area where the Nettuno 3 and Tridente differ. The Marcello C. diving watch logo exists on both the crown of the watch, and on the caseback. On the Nettuno 3, the design is etched into the metal, while on the Tridente, the design is done in relief, popping out at you. This element perhaps does not go to the heart of functionality, but is a notable aesthetic feature where the two watches differ. Relief logos are more expensive. As such, the more expensive Tridente exhibits more expensive aesthetic work.
Overall I have a deep appreciation for NauticFish, Enza Mechana, and Tiffany & Co. watches, although in my humble opinion, I don't think these companies collaborated in this effort. The time frames just don't add up, and the watches have enough differences to make the relationship unlikely. Besides, you'd think that at least NauticFish or Enzo Mechana would have press releases reminding its customers of the relationship. Regardless, I could be proven wrong. This unlabeled watch remains a tantalizing piece of Tiffany & Co. history that shows the watch maker knows how to beguile its fans. Or it is simply fan work well done. I like this watch a lot. With a bit of cleaning and a polish, you'll get a very solid piece to any rounded collection.

I spent my time with the DeWitt WX-1 a few weeks, but continue to ponder its implications. It occurred to me while strolling in San Francisco past art galleries, only blocks from Shapur where I viewed the watch that this was no mere accessory. You can hang a poster in your home, or priceless art. Both serve the same purpose in the most basic of definitions, but clearly they are not the same. The same logic applies here and translates to suggest that the DeWitt, while representing itself as a fully functioning wrist watch, is rather a masterpiece of art. It passes several tests to this degree. There are limited numbers, they are not easily reproduced, and the design and manufacture are accomplished by recognized masters.
Advertisers pay dearly for impressions and hopefully conversion (consumer converting to customer). The watch industry is such that many purchase decisions are done emotionally, but at the same time the character of the average watch consumer indicates that they are going to ask questions and do research. Upon using a site like Timezone to conduct research on a watch, a resulting absence of negative commentary may very well fuel and immediate purchase decision. This is what the advertisers are hoping for, but this is an obviously anti-consumer trend. Any consumer has the right to be informed, and ever advertiser has the right to know what negative things are being said about their product. In essence, Timezones policies are hampering beneficial product development by inhibiting valuable consumer feedback from reaching advertisers.
Analysis: On the one hand, we have a rugged look with a rugged soul (rugged like a war general's "never-see-battle" shiny new boots). On the other hand we have the piece of art that you want to handle with a white glove. The Schwarzenegger watch is designed to take a beating if it ever needed to (hostage/ransom situation), while the Clinton watch is most at home in thickly carpeted rooms.

Clinton: The same toughness of the Schwarzenegger watch has not been bestowed on the Clinton watch. This is a luxury watch at every angle, and delicate to match. Yes, you can wash your hands with this watch on, and shake it up a bit. The movement isn't so delicate as to require first-lady like handling, but you probably should keep it at home if you are planning on engaging in some hardcore campaigning in the evening.

Having said all this I in no way request Timezone to amend its manner of doing business, if they are making decent money from the website, then I tip my hat to them. My desire is that information be dispersed sufficient enough for watch lovers to become as best acquainted with the online watch information ecosystem, as possible. Share your experiences please.
Ah...back way before you were even a sprinkle of DNA in your ancestors' gene pool, Backes and Strauss was supplying the world with precious precious diamonds. This was in 1789, when I hear diamonds were still cut using dinosaur teeth, or something similar. From diamond supply all over the navigable planet, to headquarters in London, Backes and Strauss was supplying the landed aristocracy all over with shiny bling. There is bling-worthy, and then there is top-of-the-heap classy that will get even royalty to take notice of the not so small fortune on your wrist. This is where the Backes and Strauss watches come in.
When you get a speeding ticket there are right ways and wrong ways to get out of them. If you are lucky enough to talk your way out of it, then you have passed go, and the state cannot collect your 0 (or more). If you are written a ticket, you want to stay silent and preserve your rights. There are many tricks involved in getting you to admit your wrong. Such as the old "if you admit you were speeding, I will say you went only 10 mph over the speed limit, and not 2o mph." That is a classic plea bargain. Don't fall for it unless you are ready to pay your fine. They do this so if you ever contest the ticket in court, then can pull out their book to remind then (or place their recorded recollection into evidence) that you in fact made those remarks. The judge will believe them.
Good ol' Eterna. I am so happy they are soon to be officially distributed in the US once again. Eterna is not well known, and that is a shame. The company actually started ETA, which makes most of the movements in all Swiss watches. ETA was later sold to the Swatch Group. Eterna also makes all the Porsche Design watches. In my opinion, it is one of the most underrated and unacknowledged brands out there. If their marketing department is paying any attention, that ought to change soon when they re-enter the US market.
I was very lucky to find this extremely special Kobold Soarway Diver. Of course, I couldn't pass it up.
